Perfect Guacamole Recipe

Good Morning Everyone!

As mentioned yesterday, I made a batch of "Perfect Guacamole."  I promised the recipe in today's post, so here it is:

Ingredients:

4-5 Ripe Avocados
2-3 Roma Tomatoes (diced)
1/2 Onion (red, yellow or white, diced)
1 Lime
Handful of fresh chopped Cilantro
Dash of black pepper

Directions:

Cut avocados in half, remove seed.  Scoop avocado from peel and place in medium mixing bowl.

Mash avocado with a fork or spoon.

Add chopped onion, tomatoes, cilantro, pepper and juice from lime to avocado.  Mix together.

(Remember that much of this is done to taste because of the variability in the fresh ingredients. Start with this recipe and adjust to your taste.)

Chill for 1-2 hours and serve with tortilla chips, crackers or fresh veggies.

Serves Approximately 4.  A good way to measure how many people your guac will feed is to assume 1 avocado per person.  ENJOY!!!

Have a great day, and please remember to show your appreciation to all our past, present and future Veterans.  Tomorrow is Veterans Day!  Peanut's Dad is a Veteran.  Happy Veterans Day, Daddy!!!  We love you!!!
